Spicy Spirit was founded by digital marketing veteran, Elle Van Buren, as a full service Internet marketing agency in 2011 for small to medium sized companies. Spicy Spirit was formed on the premise that any small to medium sized business can have an online presence on par or even better than much larger businesses.  The company was named “Spicy Spirit” to reflect the extra sizzle and passion that it aims to bring to our clients.

Spicy Spirit is a Google Adwords Certified Partner and specializes in search & display advertising, search engine optimization, website and mobile site design as well as social media and email marketing. Its mission is to use the latest Internet technologies to help small-to-medium sized companies improve their marketing effectiveness and increase sales.

Today, Spicy Spirit services a wide variety of customers, including B2B manufacturers, food distributors, consumer-oriented retail brands and various professional service providers.

Elle Van Buren, President 

Elle is a tech savvy digital marketing professional who has extensive experience marketing products and services for both fortune 500 companies and small businesses. She has proudly achieved three professional certifications:

Google AdWords Qualified – Search Advertising
Google AdWords Qualified – Display Advertising
Google AdWords Qualified – Reporting and Analysis

Elle speaks English and Mandarin Chinese and when she is not working, she enjoys nice walks with her husband and her Chihuahua, Ms. Cookie.

 

Lili Song, Super Engineer 

Lili likes to call himself a “hacker” because he enjoys finding bugs and security holes in websites and in software. Being a perfectionist himself, he tries hard to keep his code clean, efficient and secure. Lili is very versatile, and not only has expertise with a variety of programming languages for websites, desktop applications and mobile applications, but he is also a savvy music and parkour fan. Lili was one of Yahoo China’s first employees and has worked for many well-known brands such as Jeep and Schneider Electric.

 

Sesa Pabalan, Internet Marketing Specialist 

Sesa loves running and the outdoors. She recently joined a racing team in San Francisco and is training for her third marathon. When she’s off the trails, she directs our online marketing campaigns, writes copy and enjoys bottomless green tea lattes!

She brings to Spicy Spirit eight years of writing and editing experience in the publishing industry and most recently worked with a tax firm on its own marketing efforts. We’re confident she has the passion and drive to go the distance with Spicy Spirit!
