Attorneys: What Does it Take to Be Successful with Your Marketing?

By May 14, 2014 Law Firm Marketing

Two years ago, we were hired by a local law firm with a very clear goal in mind: driving Internet-based revenue.

I’m sure you have heard of search engine optimization, social media marketing, pay-per-click advertising, etc. There are so many opportunities to waste your time on the Internet, considering how valuable your time is.

So what does it really take to be successful?

The answer is simple. You just need to be really good at ONE thing.

You can be a superstar on Yelp, with dozens of envy-inducing five-star reviews. You can be very prominent on Google Local searches, with your location popping up for all of the search terms that include your city name.

You can be a diligent writer and write a brilliant blog that has a large fan base. You can be a Twitter fanatic and have thousands of followers.

And last, but not least, you can utilize Google Adwords really well and keep a strong ROI while getting all of your targeted leads.

Yes, in this day and age, it’s hard to stay on top of everything. But if you stay focused and do really well with just one media channel, you will win.

Two years have passed. Now our client is the only law firm that ranks higher than for local web searches. For a team of five attorneys, their website’s PageRank is higher than much larger competitors’. This has resulted in a consistent stream of Internet revenue.
